Terms of Service
The deal between your organization and ours while Inklyst is in invited beta: what we owe you, what you agree to, and what we are not promising yet.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are between you and TwinBruhs LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company, at 4030 Wake Forest Road, STE 349, Raleigh, NC 27609, USA. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are signing up for an employer, you are saying you may bind them.
If a signed agreement between your organization and us says something different, that agreement wins.
What Inklyst is right now
Inklyst is a research workspace: you bring sources, we index them, and you ask questions that get answered against those sources with citations back to the passage.
It is in invited beta. Features move, break, and occasionally disappear. Availability is best effort — there is no uptime commitment yet, and none should be inferred from this page.
Your account
You need to be 16 or older and able to enter a contract. Keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us quickly if you think someone else has them.
Everything done under your account is your responsibility. Organization owners and admins control membership, roles, and what their members can reach.
How you may use it
Use Inklyst for your own research work. Do not use it to:
- Upload content you have no right to upload, including material that infringes someone else's rights.
- Upload health, payment card, government identity, or other specially regulated data — the product is not built for it and we do not accept it.
- Break the law, harass anyone, or send malware.
- Probe, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service, or work around a limit or an access check.
- Resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
If something you do puts the service or another customer at risk, we may suspend access first and explain afterwards.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you had in what you upload. You give us only the permission we need to run the product for you: to store it, process it, index it, transcribe it, show it to the people you shared it with, and back it up.
That permission ends when you delete the content or close the account, except for copies that are still working their way out of storage. We do not use your content to train models of our own, and we do not license it to anyone else to train theirs. What our providers' own defaults covered before September 2026, and what they carry now, is set out with dates in our privacy policy, which also names everyone who processes your content.
Check the AI output against the sources
Answers in Inklyst are generated by a model. The citations exist so you can check them, and you should. A cited passage is evidence; the sentence around it is a draft.
Do not treat output as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, and do not make a decision that matters without opening the source. We do not warrant that any answer is accurate or complete.
Fees
Beta organizations are invited, and pricing is not public yet. A plan we grant your organization for the beta costs nothing, and it ends on the date we tell you. If your organization has a paid plan or an add-on, the order or the checkout page you agreed to sets the price, the term, and the renewal.
Fees exclude taxes. Your plan or add-on sets the included credits and hours. Additional credits and recording hours are available in packs at the price shown at checkout.
Confidentiality
We treat your content as confidential, and you treat non-public information we share with you the same way. Neither side needs to keep something confidential once it is public through no fault of theirs.
Ending it
You can stop using Inklyst whenever you want. Closing the account is a request to us today rather than a button in the product, and we cannot close it while you are the last owner of an organization or you still own a workspace — hand those over first. We can suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if we retire the service.
Ask before you go and we will bundle your content for export. After closure, deletion follows the timeline in our privacy policy.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any output will be correct.
This is a beta. Do not run anything safety critical on it.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for everything arising out of the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and US$100.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for anything the law does not let us limit. During the beta, neither side indemnifies the other.
Changes
We may change the service and these terms. For a material change we update the date at the top and email account owners; continuing to use Inklyst after that is acceptance. These terms are in force for the invited beta from the date at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If we have a dispute, talk to us first at hello@inklyst.com; most things are settled there. Anything that is not goes to the state and federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina. That venue is exclusive, and each side consents to those courts' jurisdiction. There is no arbitration requirement.
